i was a very di…

i was a very disturbed young boy in my high school days, but i wouldn’t trade my developmental learning experiences for a less dramatic life

Just remembered,in my senior one,my saturday evenings in Budo,i’d shower(which was rare..lol),prepare my scanner radio(or borrow a walkman to listen to Westlife and Celine Dion..gayyyy!!!),iron my sunday ‘best’ t-shirt and baggy jeans(as if Buzz teens awards) all for roll call swagg and to go watch a movie in the school Hall..then since supper was posho,i’d refuse as if one of the cool kids and go buy canteen snacks..then stroll around the school as if an askari looking for people dark cornering,in the hope that i may run into my crush(i had a new one term).I had no discrimination older or younger,no one was safe from being my crush!!!
Then this saturday i plan how to talk to some S.6 i had a crush on,i planned for 3weeks as if FBI,tactics ,logistics and back up gate-away route if the plan was compromised..The different plans involved me fainting next to her or me knocking her books over,or saving her life from the Headmaster(really???)or some stupid movie facilitated tricks..Anyway,in the end i choose the ‘Bosco Heist’,where i asked one of my S.6 guy friends to steal her keys in their class, then i’d position myself one day,and ‘find’ them(yes,i was a very disturbed child)..We became friends since i was the ‘hero’,began to talk,i’d make her laugh, she’d wave at me on the school compound infront of my friends and i accumulated respect, she introduced me to her older gal friends,i chewed props for having a senior six female friend in senior one..i was living the good life,i even contemplated falling in love with one of them, thus breaking a Budonian world record and be the first S.1 to have a legit S.6 galfriend(day-dreaming expert just!)..Until one day,the Friendzone Bus arrived in style,i overheard her telling her bu galfriends,”Awwww, bambi,Denis,he’s so sweet n bubu..he’s as if our ka ‘gay’ friend”…..I didn’t attend class for 3days,the Rejection Recovery Process(RRP) was too intense!!!

You can never a…

You can never appreciate love unless you’ve known rejection, you can never appreciate wealth unless you’ve known poverty and you can never appreciate life with God unless you’ve known life without him. So treat yourself with value, and you will be on demand as a person

I’ve had several life experiences and the biggest thing I’ve learnt is that the two most important things in Life are God and People. The world is becoming something else so fast, church is becoming a museum for good people and being  used by people to create an illusion and lie to themselves that they’re ‘good’ people.

Women are blaming men for their problems, men are blaming women and Fools are blaming GOD. When does it end? The world doesn’t need any more irresponsible fathers, single mothers, suicides, broken relationships and homes hypocrital Christian leaders and corrupt political leaders. Because in real truth we later realize that money, fame, vanity, public approval all doesn’t guarantee happiness and peace, just a temporary satisfactory illusion which becomes like drug addiction and our life-source, which without  we feel like we have nothing to live for.

I personally believe that women have power to change this generation. A woman is a wellspring of society, mothers shape children, turn ‘houses’ into homes and shape leaders.Dont get me wrong,am not against men,but in all honesty we sometimes tend to think putting money on the table is raising a child,we fail to go for beach birthday parties with our children and would rather go a Bar with our ‘Bwoys’ and we in most cases find it hard to build an emotional connection needed to shape children.

Many women are reducing themselves to levels of sex objects, treating men as mere sperm ‘donors’ to facilitate their child births endeavours and are losing trust in the men in their lives and using it as an excuse to venture in consolation activities such as serial dating, prostitution ,non-commitment relationships and single motherhood. I just want to remind women out there that you don’t need anyone to make feel good about yourself and sometimes what we’d call our weaknesses such as love compassion, empathy and kindness can be our greatest strengths. God always takes care of his own,and if you do his work such as serving God and his people using his fruits (love, peace, joy, kindness),he will in turn take care of your business. Don’t put expectations on others that yourself are not willing to live up to.IF you want kind people around you, be kind,IF you want selfless people around, don’t be selfish. The fact that we’ve been given should make us want to give more and the fact that we are blessed should make us want to bless others more.Hurting people hurt others.

You can never appreciate love unless you’ve known rejection, you can never appreciate wealth unless you’ve known poverty and you can never appreciate life with God unless you’ve known life without him. So treat yourself with value, and you will be on demand as a person! You are special and if nobody tells you today, remember that God thinks it,or atleast I said it.You can trigger a generational change by influencing your future homes and children then society will start to change, charity begins from home.

I’ll take time weekly to talk about my experiences in life, funny stories  and the lessons I’ve learnt. So feel free to check up on me
